About us

Agape Evangelical Church Believes:

The Bible (Both Old Testament and New Testament) is a book of life written by the guidance of the spirit of God. In addition, the bible is the foremost authority and the base of the church’s beliefs and rules. (Romans 15:14, 2nd Timothy 3:14-17, 2nd Peter 1:20-21, Genesis 1:26, 3:22, Isaiah 6:1-3)

God (Elohim) is the creator of this world and the whole universe, eternal, unchanging, immeasurable, and is triune called by the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. (Numbers 6:22-24, Matthew 28:19-20, John 1:1, 2 Corinthians 13:14 )

God the Father (Yahweh)

God the father has prepared salvation through his son Jesus Christ to those who believe in his love and do his will. He gives the right to be his children to those who confess their sins and accept him. He is the father of Jesus Christ, an eternal God and Creator and he has revealed himself through his son Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:18, 3:16, 1 Corinthians 8:6)

God the Son, Jesus (yeshua)

Jesus Christ is, the Son of God the Father, he was born through the Holy Spirit to Mary. He came as all God and all man. He has sacrificed himself on the cross to save mankind and to renew the relationship of God with mankind. Then he rose on the third day and ascended to heaven. He has become the high priest to atone for mankind forever. He is the creator and head of the church and he will return for Judgment day. He is a just and true God. (Matthew 16:16, 24:30, 25:31-46, John 3:14-21, Acts 1:9-11, 1st Corinthians 15:3-7, 1st Timothy 3:16, 1st John 5:20)

God the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hako'desh)

The Holy Spirit is divine and has a spiritual body. He convicts the world about sin, holiness and judgment. He leads the congregation to the truth, comforts the congregation and helps them live a sanctified life. He also gives the congregation power and gifts in order to serve God. People can still be baptized by the Holy Spirit. (Joel 2:28-32, John 14:16-17/26, 16:8, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Ephesians 4:11)

Salvation and New Creation

Man was first created without sin. However, man willingly fell into sin, therefore       is born with sin. Man can be saved through repentance only and believing in What Jesus Christ had done on the cross. Man can be born again through the Holy Spirit and can have blessings and eternal life through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-31, Genesis 3:1-24, John 1:12, 4:12, Romans 5:12-19, 6:23, 10:5-17, 2nd Corinthians 5:17-21)

Believing Christians are called to obey the word of God, live a sanctified life, bear fruits of the spirit, fear God in their lives, and live a life that is an example and a light to the world. (Matthew 5:13-16, Luke 8:15, Galatians 5:22-25, 2nd Timothy 2:19, Hebrews 12:14, 1st Peter 1:15-26, James 1:22-25)

The Return of Jesus Christ

The return of Jesus Christ is the hope for all who believe in him and on the day of the return all believers will meet Christ in the air. And then they will live in a happy place for eternity. (1st Corinthians 15:23, 1st Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelations 11:11, 20:4-6)Holy Angels

There are Holy Angels that are created to worship God. They also serve believers and they will be revealed when Jesus Christ returns. (Psalm 91:11-12, Luke 20:34-36, Hebrews 1:13-14)

Satan is an evil spirit who is the source of all evil. He is a rebel against the kingdom of God. He is a source of lies. He is working in this world in many different ways. In addition, he will be thrown into hell along with his followers. Believers can defeat him in the name of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 14:12-20, Ezekiel 28:11-19, 2nd Peter 2:4

When Jesus Christ is reveled in his glory, those who believe in him will live with him in heaven. Those who did not believe in him will be thrown into eternal fire. (Matthew 25:31-46, 1st Peter 1:17, Daniel 12:1-4, Revelations 20:12-15)
